Organizes Wai Kru Ceremony for Academic Year 2025
“In Reverence and Gratitude to Our Beloved Teachers”
On June 26, 2025, the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, held its annual Wai Kru Ceremony for the academic year 2025 under the theme “In Reverence and Gratitude to Our Beloved Teachers” at UB003, Phra Ubaleekunoopamajarn Building, University of Phayao. The event was organized by the Student Union of the School and was graciously presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wipornpan Nueangmek, Dean of the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Faculty members, staff, and students from all academic years participated in the ceremony with warmth and respect.
The Wai Kru Ceremony is a traditional Thai event held to express students’ deep respect and gratitude toward their teachers, who impart knowledge and wisdom. The event also serves as a cultural and spiritual enrichment for students, promoting values of humility, discipline, and appreciation. This aligns with the University of Phayao’s identity, which emphasizes aesthetic and personality development.
Key activities of the event included:
A formal Wai Kru tribute by student representatives from each academic year
Offering of Phan Wai Kru (traditional flower trays) and recitation of homage to teachers
Ritual blessing of textbooks for auspicious academic pursuits
Presentation of certificates of recognition to outstanding students in three categories:
Academic Excellence
Outstanding Student Activities
Contributions to the Faculty
This ceremony not only provided students with the opportunity to pay respects to their mentors, but also served as a platform to celebrate and encourage student excellence in various fields. It reflects the Faculty’s strong commitment to fostering well-rounded graduates with academic strength, ethical grounding, and leadership potential.

น้อมระลึก สักกา บูชาครู สืบสานคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรมและจิตวิญญาณแห่งความกตัญญู
วันที่ 26 มิถุนายน 2568 คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ได้จัดพิธีไหว้ครู ประจำปีการศึกษา 2568 ภายใต้แนวคิด “น้อมระลึก สักกา บูชาครู” ณ ห้อง UB003 อาคารพระอุบาลีคุณูปมาจารย์ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ดำเนินกิจกรรมโดยสโมสรนิสิตคณะเกษตรฯ ได้รับเกียรติจาก ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิพรพรรณ์ เนื่องเม็ก คณบดีคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ฯ เป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์ บุคลากร และนิสิตทุกชั้นปีเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง
พิธีไหว้ครูจัดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นการสืบสานประเพณีอันดีงามทางวัฒนธรรมไทย อันแสดงถึงความกตัญญูกตเวทีของนิสิตต่อบูรพาจารย์และครูบาอาจารย์ผู้ประสิทธิ์ประสาทวิชา อีกทั้งยังเป็นการปลูกฝังคุณธรรม จริยธรรม และจิตวิญญาณแห่งการเรียนรู้ให้กับนิสิต ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับ อัตลักษณ์ของมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ในด้าน “สุนทรียภาพและบุคลิกภาพ”
ภายในงานประกอบด้วยกิจกรรมสำคัญ อาทิ
พิธีไหว้ครูโดยนิสิตตัวแทนชั้นปี
การกล่าวคำบูชาครูและมอบพานไหว้ครู
พิธีเจิมหนังสือเรียนเพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคล
การมอบเกียรติบัตรให้กับนิสิตดีเด่น แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ประเภท ได้แก่
นิสิตที่มีผลการเรียนดี
นิสิตที่มีผลงานด้านกิจกรรมนิสิตโดดเด่น
นิสิตที่สร้างคุณประโยชน์แก่คณะฯ
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวไม่เพียงแต่เป็นโอกาสให้นิสิตได้แสดงความเคารพต่อครูอาจารย์เท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นเวทีแห่งการชื่นชมและส่งเสริมศักยภาพของนิสิตในหลากหลายด้าน ตอกย้ำถึงความมุ่งมั่นของคณะฯ ในการพัฒนานิสิตอย่างรอบด้าน ทั้งด้านวิชาการ คุณธรรม และความเป็นผู้นำ
