School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, Organizes ESPReL Laboratory Safety Training and Basic Scientific Equipment Workshop for 2025
On July 6, 2025, the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, organized the “ESPReL Laboratory Safety Training and Basic Scientific Equipment Workshop” at Room CE4206, Lecture Building, University of Phayao. The event was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wipornpan Nueangmek, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, who presided over the opening ceremony. Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanyanat Sunthornprasith, Associate Dean for Academic and Research Affairs, also actively participated in the program alongside faculty members who served as instructors throughout the training sessions.
This annual workshop aimed to enhance the knowledge and awareness of laboratory safety among second-year undergraduate students from all programs within the faculty, as they prepare to engage in hands-on laboratory activities in upcoming academic courses. The training combined both theoretical and practical components and covered key topics such as:
Laboratory safety principles based on ESPReL standards (Enhancing Safety Practice of Research Laboratory), which are endorsed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.
Risk assessment and safe handling of chemicals in laboratory settings.
Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency response protocols.
Demonstration and hands-on practice with basic scientific instruments, including analytical balances, pH meters, micropipettes, centrifuges, and more—ensuring correct and safe operation.
Additionally, the program emphasized ethical considerations in laboratory resource use and environmental responsibility, fostering a safety-first mindset and promoting a sustainable safety culture within the faculty.
This initiative represents a key strategic activity aligned with the faculty’s safety policy, aiming to ensure students can learn and conduct experiments confidently and safely. It also seeks to instill a positive attitude toward responsible scientific practice and prepare students for more advanced research and laboratory work in the future.

คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ ม.พะเยา จัดโครงการฝึกอบรมความปลอดภัยในห้องปฏิบัติการตามมาตรฐาน ESPReL และการใช้เครื่องมือวิทยาศาสตร์เบื้องต้น ประจำปี 2568
เมื่อวันที่ 6 กรกฎาคม 2568 คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ได้จัดโครงการอบรมความปลอดภัยตามมาตรฐาน ESPReL และการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการการใช้เครื่องมือวิทยาศาสตร์เบื้องต้น ประจำปี 2568 ณ ห้อง CE4206 อาคารเรียนรวม มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิพรพรรณ์ เนื่องเม็ก คณบดีคณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดโครงการ และ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.กัญญาณัฐ สุนทรประสิทธิ์ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิชาการและวิจัย เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมอย่างใกล้ชิด พร้อมทั้งคณาจารย์ประจำหลักสูตร ร่วมเป็นวิทยากรให้ความรู้ตลอดการอบรม
โครงการในครั้งนี้มุ่งเน้นการเสริมสร้างความรู้ ความเข้าใจด้านความปลอดภัยในห้องปฏิบัติการให้แก่นิสิตชั้นปีที่ 2 ทุกสาขาวิชาของคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ฯ ซึ่งกำลังจะเริ่มต้นเข้าสู่กระบวนการเรียนรู้เชิงปฏิบัติในรายวิชาต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับห้องปฏิบัติการ โดยเนื้อหาการอบรมครอบคลุมทั้งภาคทฤษฎีและภาคปฏิบัติ ประกอบด้วย
แนวทางและหลักเกณฑ์ความปลอดภัยในห้องปฏิบัติการตามมาตรฐาน ESPReL (Enhancing Safety Practice of Research Laboratory) ซึ่งเป็นมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยของห้องปฏิบัติการที่ได้รับการส่งเสริมโดยกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม
การประเมินความเสี่ยงและการจัดการสารเคมีอย่างปลอดภัย
การใช้อุปกรณ์ป้องกันส่วนบุคคล (PPE) และการจัดการกรณีเกิดเหตุฉุกเฉิน
การสาธิตและฝึกปฏิบัติการใช้เครื่องมือวิทยาศาสตร์พื้นฐาน เช่น เครื่องชั่งสาร, เครื่องวัด pH, ไมโครไพเปต, เครื่องปั่นเหวี่ยงสาร ฯลฯ อย่างถูกต้องและปลอดภัย
นอกจากนี้ยังมีการให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับจริยธรรมในการใช้ทรัพยากรในห้องปฏิบัติการอย่างมีจิตสำนึกต่อสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม ตลอดจนการส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมความปลอดภัย (Safety Culture) ภายในคณะอย่างยั่งยืน
การจัดโครงการในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นหนึ่งในกิจกรรมสำคัญที่สนับสนุนนโยบายด้านความปลอดภัยของคณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ ซึ่งมุ่งหวังให้นิสิตสามารถเรียนรู้ได้อย่างมั่นใจ ปลอดภัย และมีประสิทธิภาพ พร้อมทั้งปลูกฝังทัศนคติที่ดีในการทำงานร่วมกับเครื่องมือวิทยาศาสตร์ เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมในการทำงานวิจัยและการเรียนปฏิบัติในระดับสูงต่อไปในอนาคต
