School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, Joins the “Duen Khuen Mor” Tradition – A Symbolic Cultural Event for the University Community in 2025
On July 19, 2025, the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wipornpan Nueangmek, Dean of the School, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Sumana Luangthitikaranjana, Associate Dean for Student Quality Development, faculty members, staff, and students from all academic years, took part in the annual “Duen Khuen Mor” (Walking Up to the University) tradition organized by the University of Phayao. The event aims to preserve and promote the university’s cherished customs and instill a strong sense of institutional pride and unity.
“Duen Khuen Mor” is one of the University of Phayao’s most significant cultural traditions, held annually to foster solidarity among students and strengthen the bonds between students, faculty, and administrators through meaningful cultural activities.
This year’s event began at the university's main entrance, where students from the six student communities (Wiang groups) assembled in a symbolic procession. With great respect and reverence, the participants carried ceremonial offerings and walked a distance of over 4 kilometers to pay homage to Phra Phutthaphuchakharak, the university’s sacred Buddha image located on the hillside behind the main campus.
Upon reaching the destination, all participants took part in a worship ceremony and recited a pledge to be virtuous students who contribute positively to society and uphold the university’s values.
The participation of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources in this event reflects the spirit of unity, respect, and deep pride in being part of the University of Phayao community. The event also served as a valuable opportunity to cultivate cultural appreciation and strengthen student development in all dimensions—spiritually, physically, and socially.

คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ ม.พะเยา ร่วมกิจกรรม “เดินขึ้น ม.” ประเพณีสำคัญของชาวมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ประจำปี 2568
เมื่อวันที่ 19 กรกฎาคม 2568 คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา นำโดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิพรพรรณ์ เนื่องเม็ก คณบดีคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ฯ พร้อมด้วย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุมนา เหลืองฐิติการญจนา รองคณบดีฝ่ายพัฒนาคุณภาพนิสิต คณาจารย์ บุคลากร และนิสิตจากทุกชั้นปี เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม “เดินขึ้น ม.” ประจำปี 2568 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา เพื่อร่วมกันสืบสานและทำนุบำรุงขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีอันทรงคุณค่า พร้อมปลูกฝังจิตสำนึกในความรักและความภาคภูมิใจในสถาบัน
กิจกรรม “เดินขึ้น ม.” ถือเป็นหนึ่งในประเพณีสำคัญที่สะท้อนถึงอัตลักษณ์ของมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ที่จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างความสามัคคีในหมู่นิสิต และเชื่อมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างนิสิต คณาจารย์ และผู้บริหารผ่านกิจกรรมเชิงวัฒนธรรม
ในปีนี้ ขบวน “เดินขึ้น ม.” เริ่มต้นจากบริเวณด้านหน้าประตูทางเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา โดยมีนิสิตจากทั้ง 6 เวียง
เข้าร่วมขบวนอย่างพร้อมเพรียง ด้วยความเคารพและศรัทธาในจิตวิญญาณของชาว ม.พะเยา โดยมีการจัดริ้วขบวนอัญเชิญเครื่องสักการะบูชา และเดินเท้าระยะทางกว่า 4 กิโลเมตร ไปยัง พระพุทธภุชคารักษ์ พระพุทธรูปประจำมหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งประดิษฐานอยู่ ณ เชิงดอยบริเวณด้านหลังมหาวิทยาลัย
เมื่อถึงจุดหมายปลายทาง ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมได้ร่วมประกอบพิธีสักการะพระพุทธภุชคารักษ์ พร้อมกล่าวคำปฏิญาณตนเพื่อเป็นนิสิตที่ดี มีคุณธรรม และเป็นพลังแห่งการพัฒนาสังคมต่อไปในอนาคต
การมีส่วนร่วมของคณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติในกิจกรรม “เดินขึ้น ม.” ในครั้งนี้ เป็นการแสดงออกถึงความร่วมมือ ความศรัทธา และความภาคภูมิใจในความเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา อีกทั้งยังเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการส่งเสริมคุณค่าทางวัฒนธรรม เสริมสร้างความสามัคคีในหมู่นิสิต และขับเคลื่อนกิจกรรมพัฒนานิสิตอย่างรอบด้าน ทั้งในด้านจิตใจ ร่างกาย และสังคมอย่างแท้จริง.
