School of Agriculture, University of Phayao Organizes “AGGIE GAMES 2025” to Promote Health, Unity, and Student Potential
From August 25–30, 2025, the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, organized its annual sports event, the “AGGIE GAMES 2025”, at the University Stadium. The opening ceremony was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wippornpan Nuengmek, Dean of the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, who officially declared the games open amid a vibrant atmosphere filled with energy, friendship, and enthusiasm from students and staff.
The “AGGIE GAMES” is a long-standing annual tradition of the School , designed to foster unity and collaboration. Participants were divided into four teams—Blue, Purple, Green, and Pink—competing across six sporting disciplines: 7-a-side football, badminton, volleyball, pétanque, athletics, and basketball. The event brought together undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, along with faculty members and staff, creating a strong sense of community across all levels.
Throughout the competition, participants not only showcased their athletic skills and team spirit but also demonstrated the value of spending leisure time constructively. The event strengthened bonds between students from different years of study as well as between students and staff, paving the way for deeper cooperation in future academic and extracurricular activities.
In addition, the games highlighted the importance of promoting health and well-being through regular physical activity. The Faculty also emphasized the development of essential personal qualities such as teamwork, fair play, sportsmanship, and creativity, all of which contribute to a well-rounded educational experience that combines academics, sports, and extracurricular engagement.
The lively atmosphere of the event was marked by colorful cheering, camaraderie, and spirited competition. Participants embodied the true spirit of “AGGIE”—representing not only academic excellence in agriculture but also strength of body, mind, and character, along with genuine sportsmanship.
Ultimately, “AGGIE GAMES 2025” served as a platform to showcase the talent, energy, and potential of students from the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, reinforcing the commitment to nurturing both academic and personal growth within the University of Phayao community.

คณะเกษตรศาสตร์ฯ ม.พะเยา จัดแข่งขันกีฬาสีสานสัมพันธ์ “AGGIE GAMES 2025” เสริมสร้างสุขภาพ ความสามัคคี และศักยภาพนิสิต
ระหว่างวันที่ 25–30 สิงหาคม 2568 คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ได้จัดกิจกรรมแข่งขันกีฬาสีสานสัมพันธ์ประจำปี ภายใต้ชื่อ “AGGIE GAMES 2025” ณ สนามกีฬา มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา โดยมี ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิพรพรรณ์ เนื่องเม็ก คณบดีคณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดการแข่งขันอย่างเป็นทางการ ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศที่เต็มไปด้วยพลังแห่งมิตรภาพและความคึกคักของนิสิตและบุคลากร
การจัดการแข่งขันกีฬาสี “AGGIE GAMES” เป็นกิจกรรมที่คณะฯ จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี โดยแบ่งผู้เข้าร่วมออกเป็น 4 สี ได้แก่ สีฟ้า สีม่วง สีเขียว และสีชมพู เพื่อลงทำการแข่งขันใน 6 ชนิดกีฬา ได้แก่ ฟุตบอล 7 คน แบดมินตัน วอลเลย์บอล เปตอง กรีฑา และบาสเกตบอล โดยมีทั้งนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรี ปริญญาโท ปริญญาเอก ตลอดจนบุคลากรคณะฯ เข้าร่วมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง
ตลอดระยะเวลาการแข่งขัน ไม่เพียงแต่จะได้เห็นความสามารถด้านกีฬาและทักษะการเล่นเป็นทีมเท่านั้น แต่ยังสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงการใช้เวลาว่างอย่างสร้างสรรค์ การสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่างนิสิตต่างชั้นปี รวมถึงระหว่างนิสิตกับบุคลากร อันนำไปสู่การพัฒนาความร่วมมือในด้านต่าง ๆ ของคณะฯ ต่อไป
นอกจากนี้ การแข่งขันกีฬาสียังมุ่งเน้น การส่งเสริมสุขภาพและพลานามัยของนิสิตและบุคลากร ผ่านการออกกำลังกายอย่างสม่ำเสมอ สร้างเสริมคุณลักษณะอันพึงประสงค์ เช่น การรู้แพ้ รู้ชนะ รู้อภัย การทำงานร่วมกันเป็นทีม และการแสดงออกอย่างสร้างสรรค์ ก่อให้เกิดบรรยากาศของการเรียนรู้ที่สมบูรณ์ทั้งด้านวิชาการ กีฬา และกิจกรรม
บรรยากาศภายในงานเต็มไปด้วยสีสันแห่งการเชียร์ กีฬา และความสามัคคี ผู้เข้าร่วมต่างแสดงพลังของความเป็น “AGGIE” ที่ไม่เพียงหมายถึงความมุ่งมั่นด้านวิชาการเกษตร แต่ยังสะท้อนถึงความแข็งแรงของร่างกายและจิตใจ ตลอดจนการอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างมีน้ำใจนักกีฬา
“AGGIE GAMES 2025” จึงนับเป็นอีกหนึ่งเวทีที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงพลัง ความสามารถ และศักยภาพของนิสิตคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ฯ ที่จะนำไปสู่การเติบโตทั้งในรั้วมหาวิทยาลัยและสังคมต่อไป
