School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, Organizes the Project “Volunteer Agriculture for the Community” to Foster Social Responsibility and Local Development

The School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, organized the project “Volunteer Agriculture for the Community”, with the participation of 65 student volunteers, along with faculty members and staff from the Division of Student Affairs, totaling more than 98 participants. The project took place at Ban Thung Luang School, aiming to strengthen social responsibility and contribute to local development.
Activities Conducted
Recreational activities: Student volunteers engaged with schoolchildren through games, songs, and group activities, creating an atmosphere of joy, unity, and close interaction.
School improvement activities: Renovation and repair work were carried out, including painting more than 200 meters of the school fence to enhance the school’s safety and appearance.
Lunch program: Student volunteers worked together to prepare and serve lunch for 27 students and teachers, along with all 98 project participants, fostering a spirit of sharing and community.

School Leadership and Participation
The event was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Wipornpan Nueangmek, Dean of the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, who joined the activities alongside six faculty members and staff from the Division of Student Affairs, providing support and encouragement to the student volunteers.
Significance of the Project
The “Volunteer Agriculture for the Community” project reflects the application of students’ knowledge, skills, and energy to benefit society, while strengthening relationships between the university and the community. It also promotes volunteer spirit, ethics, and social responsibility among students, aligning with the University of Phayao’s mission to foster sustainable social and community development.
The event was filled with smiles, joy, and warmth from the schoolchildren, teachers, and student volunteers. It stands as a meaningful initiative that highlights the value of community service and reaffirms the Faculty’s role as a vital contributor to local development.

คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา จัดโครงการ “เกษตรจิตอาสาเพื่อชุมชน” โดยมีนิสิตจิตอาสาจำนวน 65 คน ร่วมกับคณาจารย์และกองกิจการนิสิต รวมกว่า 98 คน เดินทางไปยังโรงเรียนบ้านทุ่งหลวง เพื่อทำกิจกรรมที่มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นและสร้างจิตสำนึกการมีส่วนร่วมรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม
กิจกรรมที่ดำเนินการ
กิจกรรมสันทนาการ : นิสิตจิตอาสาร่วมกับเด็กนักเรียนทำกิจกรรมละเล่น ร้องเพลง และสร้างบรรยากาศที่สนุกสนาน เชื่อมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างชาวค่ายกับน้อง ๆ โรงเรียน
กิจกรรมพัฒนาโรงเรียน : ปรับปรุงและซ่อมแซมพื้นที่ พร้อมทั้งทาสีรั้วยาวกว่า 200 เมตร เพื่อความสวยงามและปลอดภัยของโรงเรียน
เลี้ยงอาหารกลางวัน : นิสิตจิตอาสาร่วมแรงร่วมใจทำอาหารกลางวันเลี้ยงน้อง ๆ และคุณครูจำนวน 27 คน รวมถึงผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการทั้งหมดกว่า 98 คน

ความสำคัญของโครงการ
โครงการ “เกษตรจิตอาสาเพื่อชุมชน” เป็นกิจกรรมที่สะท้อนถึงการนำความรู้ ความสามารถ และพลังของนิสิตคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ฯ ไปใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์แก่สังคม พร้อมทั้งสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยกับชุมชน ส่งเสริมคุณธรรม จริยธรรม และจิตสาธารณะของนิสิต ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับพันธกิจของมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยาในการพัฒนาสังคมและชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน
บรรยากาศกิจกรรมเต็มไปด้วยรอยยิ้ม ความสุข และความอบอุ่น ทั้งจากน้อง ๆ คุณครู และนิสิตจิตอาสา นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งโครงการที่ช่วยสืบสานคุณค่าของการทำงานเพื่อสังคม และตอกย้ำบทบาทของคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ฯ ในการเป็นกำลังสำคัญของชุมชน
