School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, Visits Border Patrol Police School to Follow Up on SDG Project

The School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, led by
Asst. Prof. Dr. Wipornpan Nuengmek, Dean of the School, together with the management team, lecturers, and staff, visited Bettie Dumen Border Patrol Police School, Pong District, Phayao Province to monitor and evaluate the progress of the project “One Faculty, One Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)” for the fiscal year 2025.
The project aims to promote sustainable development in remote communities and schools, aligning with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education. It focuses on transferring agricultural knowledge, technology, and innovation to enhance local quality of life and self-reliance in a sustainable manner.
During the visit, the School delivered breeding pigs and animal feed to the school as part of a learning initiative on sustainable pig farming.
Moreover, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phayungsak Intawicha, an expert in animal production and artificial insemination technology, shared practical knowledge and conducted a training session on the Artificial Insemination System for teachers, students, and local farmers.
This activity highlights the Faculty’s strong commitment to social engagement and area-based knowledge development, contributing to the creation of a resilient and sustainable community in line with the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy.

พร้อมด้วย รองคณบดี คณาจารย์ และบุคลากร ลงพื้นที่ ณ โรงเรียนตำรวจตระเวนชายแดนเบ็ตตี้ดูเมน อำเภอปง จังหวัดพะเยา
เพื่อดำเนินกิจกรรม ติดตามและประเมินผลการดำเนินงานโครงการ “1 คณะ 1 เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals – SDG)” ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2568
โครงการดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมให้ชุมชนและโรงเรียนในพื้นที่ห่างไกล
เกิดการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนตามเป้าหมาย SDG หมายเลข 3: การมีสุขภาพและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี (Good Health and Well-being)
และ SDG หมายเลข 4: การศึกษาที่เท่าเทียม (Quality Education)
โดยมุ่งเน้นการถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ทางวิชาการ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรมทางการเกษตร
เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของคนในชุมชนให้สามารถพึ่งพาตนเองได้อย่างยั่งยืน
ภายในกิจกรรม คณะเกษตรศาสตร์ฯ ได้ส่งมอบ สุกรพันธุ์และอาหารเลี้ยงสัตว์ ให้แก่ทางโรงเรียน
เพื่อใช้เป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้การเลี้ยงสุกรแบบยั่งยืนสำหรับนักเรียนและเกษตรกรในชุมชน
พร้อมทั้งมีการ ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้านการผสมเทียมสุกร (Artificial Insemination System)
โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พยุงศักดิ์ อินต๊ะวิชา ผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการผลิตสัตว์และเทคโนโลยีการผสมเทียม
เป็นวิทยากรให้คำแนะนำเชิงปฏิบัติแก่ครูและนักเรียนในโรงเรียน ตลอดจนเกษตรกรในพื้นที่โดยรอบ
กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงบทบาทของคณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา
ในการขับเคลื่อนพันธกิจเพื่อสังคม (Social Engagement)
และการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้เชิงพื้นที่อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
เพื่อสร้างสังคมที่เข้มแข็ง มีสุขภาวะที่ดี และสามารถดำรงชีวิตได้อย่างยั่งยืนภายใต้หลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง
