Strengthening International Academic Collaboration Toward Sustainable Development Goals
On Monday, June 30, 2025, the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, had the honor of welcoming Professor Dr. Yueh-Chiao Yeh, Vice President of Nanhua University, Taiwan, along with a delegation of administrators, faculty members, and students from Nanhua University. The visit took place at the Boonrattanaprasit Conference Room, University of Phayao.
The visit was graciously presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Phongsabangpo, President of the University of Phayao, who delivered a warm welcome address. University executives from various faculties and departments—including the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, School of Energy and Environment, Building and Grounds Division, and the Center for Environmental and Sustainable Management—also participated in fruitful academic discussions with the Nanhua delegation.
This visit marks another important milestone in strengthening the long-standing collaboration between the two institutions, which began with the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 16, 2024. The partnership has since flourished through various initiatives, such as:
Academic knowledge exchange and capacity-building for staff
Student opportunities to participate in international activities, including a Design Thinking Workshop at Nanhua University
Faculty participation in international academic conferences and the annual University Social Responsibility (USR) forum
As part of today’s visit, a focused academic exchange session was held, highlighting shared interests and strategic directions, with particular emphasis on:
Green Technology for Sustainability
This collaborative dialogue not only fostered mutual learning but also reflected the University of Phayao’s strong commitment to advancing sustainable international partnerships. It is a clear step forward in realizing the university’s vision of becoming a global institution for sustainable development.

เสริมสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ สู่เป้าหมายแห่งการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน
วันจันทร์ที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2568 คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ Professor Dr. Yueh-Chiao Yeh รองอธิการบดี Nanhua University ประเทศไต้หวัน พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหาร อาจารย์ และนิสิต จาก Nanhua University ณ ห้องประชุม บวรรัตนประสิทธิ์ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา
การต้อนรับในครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุภกร พงศบางโพธิ์ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา เป็นประธานกล่าวต้อนรับ พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารจากหลากหลายคณะและหน่วยงาน อาทิ คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ วิทยาลัยพลังงานและสิ่งแวดล้อม กองอาคารสถานที่ และศูนย์สิ่งแวดล้อมและการจัดการที่ยั่งยืน ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเชิงวิชาการกับผู้แทนจาก Nanhua University อย่างอบอุ่นและสร้างสรรค์
การมาเยือนในครั้งนี้ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญในการกระชับความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่างสองสถาบัน ซึ่งมีรากฐานจากการลงนามบันทึกความเข้าใจร่วมกัน (MOU) เมื่อวันที่ 16 มกราคม 2567 และต่อเนื่องมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน ผ่านกิจกรรมและความร่วมมือหลากหลายรูปแบบ อาทิ
การแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากร
การเปิดโอกาสให้นิสิตได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมระดับนานาชาติ เช่น Design Thinking Workshop ณ Nanhua University ประเทศไต้หวัน
การเข้าร่วมประชุมวิชาการระดับนานาชาติและเวที USR โดยคณาจารย์ของมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา
ในกิจกรรมวันนี้ มีการจัด กลุ่มแลกเปลี่ยนเชิงวิชาการ ที่เน้นหัวข้อสำคัญซึ่งเป็นความสนใจร่วมกันของทั้งสองสถาบัน ได้แก่
เทคโนโลยีสีเขียวเพื่อความยั่งยืน (Green Technology for Sustainability)
การแลกเปลี่ยนในครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงแต่เปิดโอกาสให้เกิดการเรียนรู้ร่วมกันเท่านั้น แต่ยังสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยาในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือเชิงวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ ต่อยอดความรู้ สู่วิสัยทัศน์ของการเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนในเวทีโลก
