UP School of Agriculture Showcases Achievements at “UP Innovation Day 2025: Innovation for Sustainability” – Receiving Awards and Social Innovation Grant
On September 1, 2025, the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, participated in the exhibition of research and innovations at “UP Innovation Day 2025: Innovation for Sustainability.” The event aimed to present the university’s research achievements and innovations, raise public awareness, and create opportunities for government agencies, private sectors, and communities to further develop and apply these outcomes for commercial and social benefits.
The event was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Pongsabangpo, President of the University of Phayao, who presided over the opening ceremony. The event was attended by executives, faculty members, staff, and students from various faculties.
During the exhibition, the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources received three honorary certificates:
Asst. Prof. Dr. Wasana Phitakphon
Recognized as the highest revenue generator from technology transfer in 2024 for her work:
“Formulation of hemp extract balm encapsulated with bio-based solid lipid nanoparticles and post-harvest processes for high-quality extract production.”
Asst. Prof. Dr. Boonyarit Sinkangam
Honored for the registration of new plant varieties – hybrid maize cultivars suitable for post-rice cultivation in the Upper Northern Region 2, namely UP227 and UP242.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Waipot Kanju
Awarded for the registration of a new plant variety – a photoperiod-insensitive aromatic glutinous rice variety, “Hom UP1.”
In addition, the faculty received a Social Innovation Grant for Community Well-Being and Sustainability, under the Social Innovation Driving Unit (SID), Upper Northern Region 2, FY2025, from the University of Phayao Innovation and Technology Transfer Institute.
The funded project, titled “Innovation in the Production of Phulae Pineapple Kombucha and Phulae Pineapple Kombucha Capsules,” is led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Waraporn Kusolarak with co-investigator Dr. Ronakorn Soinak, in collaboration with the Phulae Pineapple Export Community Enterprise, Nang Lae Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai Province.
This participation highlights the strong potential of the School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, in advancing research, innovation, and knowledge transfer to society, driving sustainable development at both local and national levels.

คณะเกษตรศาสตร์ฯ ม.พะเยา ร่วมนำผลงานแสดงในงาน “UP Innovation Day 2025 : Innovation for Sustainability” พร้อมคว้ารางวัลและรับมอบทุนสนับสนุนโครงการนวัตกรรม
เมื่อวันที่ 1 กันยายน 2568 คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา เข้าร่วมจัดแสดงผลงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ในงาน “UP Innovation Day 2025 : Innovation for Sustainability” เพื่อเผยแพร่ผลงานการดำเนินงานด้านวิจัยและนวัตกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัย สร้างการรับรู้และเปิดโอกาสให้หน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และชุมชน ที่สนใจสามารถนำผลงานไปต่อยอดเชิงพาณิชย์และเชิงสังคม
การจัดงานครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุภกร พงศบางโพธิ์ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด โดยมีผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ บุคลากร และนิสิตจากหลายคณะเข้าร่วมอย่างคึกคัก
ภายในงาน คณะเกษตรศาสตร์ฯ ได้รับเกียรติบัตรแสดงความยินดี จำนวน 3 รางวัล ได้แก่
ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วาสนา พิทักษ์พล
ได้รับเกียรติบัตร ทำรายได้สูงสุดจากการถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีองค์ความรู้ ประจำปี 2567
จากผลงาน “สูตรตำรับบาล์มผสมสารสกัดกัญชงที่กักเก็บด้วยเทคโนโลยีนาโนพาร์ติเคิลไขมันแข็งชีวภาพ และกระบวนการหลังการเก็บเกี่ยววัตถุดิบเพื่อการผลิตสารสกัดคุณภาพสูง”
ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.บุญฤทธิ์ สินค้างาม
ได้รับเกียรติบัตร การขึ้นทะเบียนพันธุ์พืชใหม่ พันธุ์ข้าวโพดเลี้ยงสัตว์ลูกผสมที่เหมาะสมกับพื้นที่ปลูกหลังการทำนาในจังหวัดภาคเหนือตอนบนเขต 2 ได้แก่พันธุ์ ยูพี 227 (UP227) และ ยูพี 242 (UP242)
ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ไวพจน์ กันจู
ได้รับเกียรติบัตร การขึ้นทะเบียนพันธุ์พืชใหม่ พันธุ์ข้าวเหนียวหอมไม่ไวต่อช่วงแสง สายพันธุ์ดีเด่น “หอม มพ.1”
นอกจากนี้ คณะเกษตรศาสตร์ฯ ยังได้รับ ทุนสนับสนุนนวัตกรรมทางสังคมเพื่อความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีของชุมชนและความยั่งยืน (Social Innovation for Community Well-Being and Sustainability) ภายใต้ หน่วยขับเคลื่อนนวัตกรรมเพื่อสังคม (Social Innovation Driving Unit: SID) ภาคเหนือตอนบน 2 ปีงบประมาณ 2568 จากสถาบันนวัตกรรมและถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา
โดยโครงการที่ได้รับทุนคือ “นวัตกรรมการผลิตคอมบูชาสับปะรดภูแลและคอมบูชาสับปะรดภูแลแคปซูล”

การเข้าร่วมงานในครั้งนี้ แสดงให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพของคณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ในการพัฒนางานวิจัย นวัตกรรม และการถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้สู่สังคม ต่อยอดเพื่อความยั่งยืนทั้งในระดับท้องถิ่นและระดับประเทศ
