UP School of Agriculture Welcomes Evaluation Committee for “Learning Space 2025”
Advancing Learning Spaces Toward Sustainability and SDGs
August 19–20, 2025
The School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, warmly welcomed the evaluation committee for “Learning Space 2025”. The visit was led by the Dean, faculty members, staff, and students who jointly presented outcomes and initiatives developed under the project.
The evaluation was conducted at the Sufficiency Economy Learning Center, University of Phayao, and the Lychee Large-Scale Farming Group in Sri Thoey Sub-district, Mae Chai District, Phayao Province. The purpose was to highlight the achievements of the faculty’s learning spaces, which integrate teaching, research, and academic services directly with community development in the local context.
Highlight Activities within the Learning Space
Activities presented during the evaluation were designed in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Key initiatives included:
Black Soldier Fly (BSF) Cultivation for Sustainable Waste Management
An innovative approach to organic waste reduction, where BSF larvae are utilized to convert waste into alternative protein sources for animal feed, while also producing high-quality organic fertilizer—reducing dependence on external resources.
Developing GI-Certified Lychee Production
Comprehensive farm management practices covering nutrient management, orchard maintenance, integrated pest management (IPM), and fruit bagging technology to reduce chemical usage. This initiative enhances product quality, ensures compliance with Geographical Indication (GI) standards, and builds consumer confidence in both domestic and international markets.
Toward Sustainable Development
The “Learning Space 2025” initiative serves as a model for integrating theoretical knowledge with practical, community-based applications. It not only enhances the quality of education but also contributes to the balanced development of the local economy, society, and environment.
This evaluation reaffirmed the faculty’s capacity to establish impactful community-based classrooms, while also underscoring the role of the University of Phayao as a hub for learning, innovation, and SDG-driven development that supports farmers and communities in Phayao Province and beyond.

ยกระดับพื้นที่การเรียนรู้สู่ความยั่งยืนและเป้าหมาย SDGs

คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ให้การต้อนรับคณะกรรมการตรวจประเมินผลการดำเนินงาน “Learning Space 2025 คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา” โดยมีคณบดี คณาจารย์ บุคลากร และนิสิต ร่วมให้การต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่น
การตรวจประเมินในครั้งนี้จัดขึ้น ณ ศูนย์การเรียนรู้เศรษฐกิจพอเพียง มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา และ กลุ่มแปลงใหญ่ลิ้นจี่ ตำบลศรีถ้อย อำเภอแม่ใจ จังหวัดพะเยา เพื่อสะท้อนถึงผลลัพธ์การพัฒนาพื้นที่การเรียนรู้ที่เชื่อมโยงการเรียนการสอน งานวิจัย และการบริการวิชาการเข้ากับการพัฒนาชุมชนในเชิงพื้นที่อย่างแท้จริง
กิจกรรมเด่นในพื้นที่การเรียนรู้
กิจกรรมที่นำเสนอในการตรวจประเมินครั้งนี้มีความสอดคล้องกับ เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) โดยมีตัวอย่างที่โดดเด่น ได้แก่
การเพาะเลี้ยงหนอนแมลงวันลายกู้โลก (Black Soldier Fly: BSF)
นวัตกรรมเพื่อการจัดการขยะอินทรีย์อย่างยั่งยืน สามารถนำไปต่อยอดเป็นโปรตีนทางเลือกสำหรับอาหารสัตว์ และผลิตปุ๋ยอินทรีย์คุณภาพสูง ลดการพึ่งพาทรัพยากรจากภายนอก
การพัฒนาการผลิตลิ้นจี่คุณภาพมาตรฐาน GI
ครอบคลุมการจัดการธาตุอาหาร การดูแลสวน การป้องกันกำจัดศัตรูพืชแบบผสมผสาน (IPM) และการห่อผลผลิต (Bagging Technology) เพื่อลดการใช้สารเคมี เพิ่มคุณภาพผลผลิต และสร้างความเชื่อมั่นสู่ตลาดทั้งในและต่างประเทศ
มุ่งสู่การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน
“Learning Space 2025” ของคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ฯ ม.พะเยา ถือเป็นพื้นที่ต้นแบบที่บูรณาการการเรียนรู้ภาคทฤษฎีเข้ากับการปฏิบัติจริงในชุมชน ช่วยยกระดับคุณภาพการศึกษาไปพร้อมกับการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อมในพื้นที่อย่างสมดุล
การตรวจประเมินครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงสะท้อนถึงศักยภาพของคณะในการสร้าง “ห้องเรียนเชิงพื้นที่” เท่านั้น แต่ยังแสดงให้เห็นถึงบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยาในการเป็น ศูนย์กลางการเรียนรู้และขับเคลื่อนเป้าหมาย SDGs สู่การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนของเกษตรกรและชุมชนในจังหวัดพะเยาและพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง
