UP School of Agriculture Partners with Kubota Phayao to Host “Driving School in Classroom”
Enhancing Knowledge of Agricultural Machinery Operation and Maintenance Toward Becoming Young Smart Farmers

The School of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Phayao, in collaboration with Kubota Phayao Co., Ltd., organized a hands-on training program titled “Driving School in Classroom”. The workshop was designed to enhance knowledge and skills in the operation and maintenance of agricultural machinery. The session was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Boonrit Sinkangam, along with faculty members, staff, and students who actively participated in the program.
Objectives of the Training
The training aimed to:
Provide students and participants with practical knowledge of agricultural machinery.
Strengthen hands-on skills in driving, operating, and maintaining agricultural equipment.
Introduce students to modern agricultural technologies and innovations.
Establish a foundation for students to become Young Smart Farmers who are self-reliant and capable of leading agricultural development in their communities.
Training Content
The program was divided into two key components:
1) Theoretical Session
Introduction to the functions and mechanisms of various Kubota agricultural machinery models.
Basic pre-operation inspection (Check & Safety).
Scheduled maintenance practices to extend machinery lifespan.
Presentation of advanced technologies and innovations in line with modern agriculture.
2) Practical Session
Demonstrations of machinery driving and field operations.
Basic control practice with tractors and attachments.
Hands-on demonstration of post-operation maintenance, including oil checks, cleaning, and equipment care.
Supervised test-driving opportunities for students under the guidance of Kubota experts.
Expected Outcomes
Students gain firsthand experience in operating and maintaining agricultural machinery.
Development of entrepreneurial and technological skills to become next-generation Young Smart Farmers.
Strengthening of academic–industry collaboration to enhance education and academic services.
Improved employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for students after graduation.
The “Driving School in Classroom” training marked an important initiative in advancing students’ agricultural knowledge by combining theoretical learning with practical field experience. This program also supports the cultivation of innovative agricultural leaders equipped with the skills, knowledge, and vision to drive sustainable agriculture in Thailand.

คณะเกษตรศาสตร์และทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา ร่วมกับ บริษัท คูโบต้าพะเยา จำกัด จัดการฝึกอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ “Driving School in Classroom” เพื่อเสริมสร้างความรู้และทักษะด้านการใช้งานและการบำรุงรักษาเครื่องจักรกลการเกษตร โดยมี ผศ.ดร.บุญฤทธิ์ สินค้างาม พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์ บุคลากร และนิสิตร่วมเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมอย่างคึกคัก
วัตถุประสงค์ของการอบรม
การอบรมครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อบรรลุเป้าหมายหลัก ดังนี้
ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้านเครื่องจักรกลการเกษตรแก่นิสิตและผู้เข้าร่วมอบรม
เสริมสร้างทักษะเชิงปฏิบัติจริงในการขับ การใช้งาน และการบำรุงรักษาเครื่องจักรกล
เปิดโอกาสให้นิสิตได้สัมผัสและเรียนรู้เทคโนโลยีการเกษตรสมัยใหม่
วางรากฐานให้นิสิตสามารถก้าวสู่การเป็น Young Smart Farmer ที่พึ่งพาตนเองและเป็นผู้นำการเกษตรในอนาคต
เนื้อหาการอบรม
กิจกรรมการอบรมแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ส่วนหลัก ได้แก่
1) ภาคทฤษฎี
แนะนำหลักการทำงานของเครื่องจักรกลการเกษตรรุ่นต่าง ๆ ของคูโบต้า
การตรวจสอบความพร้อมของเครื่องจักรเบื้องต้น (Check & Safety)
แนวทางการบำรุงรักษาตามรอบเวลาเพื่อยืดอายุการใช้งาน
การนำเสนอเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมเครื่องจักรกลสมัยใหม่ที่สอดคล้องกับเกษตรยุคใหม่
2) ภาคปฏิบัติ
สาธิตการขับและใช้งานเครื่องจักรกลในภาคสนาม
การฝึกควบคุมเครื่องจักรเบื้องต้น เช่น รถแทรกเตอร์และอุปกรณ์ต่อพ่วง
การบำรุงรักษาหลังการใช้งาน เช่น การตรวจเช็กน้ำมันเครื่อง การทำความสะอาด และการดูแลชิ้นส่วนสำคัญ
การฝึกขับเครื่องจักรจริงโดยนิสิต ภายใต้การดูแลของผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากคูโบต้า
ผลที่คาดว่าจะได้รับ
นิสิตได้รับประสบการณ์ตรง ในการใช้งานและดูแลเครื่องจักรกลการเกษตร
พัฒนาทักษะการเป็นผู้ประกอบการเกษตรรุ่นใหม่ (Young Smart Farmer) ที่มีความรู้ด้านเทคโนโลยีและการจัดการฟาร์มสมัยใหม่
เสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยกับภาคเอกชน เพื่อยกระดับการเรียนการสอนและการบริการวิชาการ
เพิ่มศักยภาพการจ้างงานและการประกอบอาชีพ ของนิสิตหลังสำเร็จการศึกษา
การจัดอบรม “Driving School in Classroom” ครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมสำคัญในการพัฒนาศักยภาพนิสิตด้านการเกษตร ที่ผสมผสานทั้งความรู้เชิงวิชาการและทักษะภาคสนามอย่างแท้จริง พร้อมต่อยอดสู่การสร้าง ผู้นำการเกษตรรุ่นใหม่ ที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยนวัตกรรมและความรู้ เพื่ออนาคตที่ยั่งยืนของเกษตรไทย
